Founded in 2011 by the Klobus family, Syosset Rowing Inc. saw close to 7 years of successfully offering the opportunity for junior participants to row in a community environment.  In the Fall of 2017, the Klobus family reached out to Oyster Bay Community Rowing and offered to hand over the management of the Syosset Rowing junior club team. The Pagliara family donated the funds to OBCR, a registered 501c3, to purchase all assets and equipment in December 2017.  The legacy of Syosset Crew continues under the management of OBCR to this day!

This team is and has always been open to participants not just in the Syosset school district, but to anyone grades 6-12 that is physically and cognitively capable of participating in the sport.
